Full dentures are designed to replace an entire set of missing teeth. They are typically created after the natural teeth have been removed and the jawbone has had time to begin healing. By the use of digital x-rays, it can identify which areas need to replace, and to fixed.
Immediate vs. Conventional Dentures
Immediate dentures are crafted in advance and placed in the mouth right after the teeth are extracted. Since the gums and bone continue to change during the healing process, these dentures may not maintain a proper fit over time. For this reason, immediate dentures are considered a temporary solution until conventional dentures custom-fitted after healing can be made for long-term use.
